Have you tried the Seaweed Bath Co. Exfoliating Detox Soap yet? Pick up a bar the next time you're in Whole Foods!

I decided to try this soap because I am on the hunt for some eco-friendly, plastic-free, all-natural, cruelty-free, non-waxy soap. So I splurged and spent almost $8 on one bar to give it a shot.

When I first used this soap, I thought it suuuuper rough. Like it almost hurt to use, it was that rough. But over time (after about 3-4 uses), the roughness died down a bit. I would not recommend using this on your face, but it feels great on your shoulders, back, booty, legs, and feet.

The scent is mild, it smells like a mixture of coffee and regular soap (is that a scent?). As for the feel, it does leave my skin a little waxy, although definitely not as bad as some other soaps I've tried, so this is up there on my list of better soaps to use. It's also not as moisturizing as I'd hoped, however, it's awesome for exfoliating. I've started to incorporate this into my shower routine about twice a week in order to make my skin a little smoother, and make sure to follow up with some nice lotion.

Unfortunately this hasn't really helped with back or chest acne, so if that's your main goal then this soap may not be for you (although it's worth a shot).

Overall I would recommend this soap if you're looking to add some exfoliation into your routine, but I would keep searching if you're looking for a cleansing, moisturizing bar. This bar soap is not harsh, is made with natural ingredients, and is plastic free!

Cost: $7.99 on their website. Since I only use this twice a week, it's been over a month and the bar is still about the same size, so I have a feeling this is going to last for a long time.
